The committee has decided not to raise the membership fee of $50.00 for this year, but instead to raise the attendance money from $1.00 to $2.00. Members will appreciate that power and gas costs have increased especially in view of the very cold winter we have had.

We are organising a trip to the Camberwell Art Show on April 1st. Please call or email Di if you would like to come. The cost will be approximately $44 for the bus and admission, single entry $20 or concession $18. Di will need to know asap so she can book.

Our next paintout day, will be on Sunday 19th of February at the Hopkins River. As the Whaleboat races will be on, there could be some interesting subjects to paint. I welcome any suggestions for outdoor painting venues, see what you can come up with

We welcome two new members to our society, Anne Krause and Pam Nevill.

Please note: Our next social meeting will be on March 4th at 2.30 to give our non Warrnambool members a chance to socialize without the drive home in the dark. Please bring a plate for afternoon tea.

THE F-PROJECT—ART CARDS

Art Cards have hit stores, cafes and galleries around Warrnambool and are being snapped up by the hun-dreds each week! If you’re an arts practitioner, either independently or with an organisation, we can offer you an economical, attractive and long-lasting means of promotion. Look out for them at Darrians, Bright Bird, Collins, Saltmarsh, Fishtails, the Warrnambool Art Gallery, Scope, TAFE and more!

If you’d like to have your creative product or business featured on F Project’s Art-Cards, enquire at cards@fproject.org.au. We welcome everyone from painters to musicians, galleries to theatre groups. The F Project is a not-for-profit incorporation, and all funds raised are used to foster arts projects, employment and events in South West Victoria.

Artists - $20 per 50 cards, or $100 per 300 cards

Businesses - $30 per 50 cards, or $120 per 300 cards

Included in the cost is the printing, distribution and display of your cards amongst at least 10 different venues (with imminent expansion to Hamilton, Port-land, Port Fairy and more throughout the South West).

One of the benefits which come with your membership, is being able to have your own Exhibition in our Gallery at a nominal fee. If you would like to, on your own or with a group, and are not sure where to start, see Di, help is available
