Better Hearing Australia is a voluntary, non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting
people who have an acquired hearing loss.
These are people who have always used speech to communicate, but now find it
difficult to understand the speech of other people because of Impaired hearing.
There are branches of A major feature of its activities is the provision of classes in Hearing Rehabilitation,
including Communication Skills and Lipreading. The sessions cover many aspects of
coping with hearing loss.
