The Warrnambool PC Group was formed approx 15 years ago with the purpose of helping each other to understand computers. Over the years the concept has changed in that the primary goal now is to help and educate adults who did not grow up with computers.
The majority of members are either those who's children have said "Here is my old computer for you to learn on", or those who have decided that they want to try to keep up with the changing computer world.
The club has over 45 members and a typical night covers a wide variety of subjects ranging from the simple to the complex.
The night begins with questions and answers.
A computer, screen and projector are used on the night to do the presentations and also to provide answers to question. Internet is also available to download necessary information.
We encourage the members to do presentations on subjects they enjoy, we also invite persons of interest that are not members to do presentations at the meeting to further our knowlege.
After the meeting is closed we enjoy supper and bonding where everyone catches up and shares.
If you have a computer and would like to join us, come along to our meeting you will be most welcome.
