Hi everybody, Welcome to the first Newsletter for the New Year.
I trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a great start to the new year. Our treasurer Ron won the major prize in our raffle that was drawn at the Christmas party! We all had a great night, with about 30 members and significant others present.
Our first meeting of the year was on Jan 26th, and the 25 plus members present spent the night in small buzz groups comparing computers and computer problems with each other. A GOOD NIGHT! For a few months now I have been sending out lists of free software available for download from the internet. I would appreciate your comments as to whether you find it useful. By the way, currently we have 36 members.
This month I am suggesting a program to make covers. DVD Slim Free is a small and easy to use application that allows you to quickly create and print covers for basically everything It allows you to print traditional covers for CDs, DVD, VHS, Blue Ray, Play station Portable, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, Standard Disc Labels, Mini-discs, and something completely new, can transform a standard cover in a 14 mm SLIM 7 or 9 mm and 5 mm even SLIM SOFT, scaling proportionally individual items! On the internet search for DVD Slim Free - Ver: 2.0.0.0. I do not know about you, but i find that trying some of these programs really gets the mind going. To be sure always do a system restore before installing new programs. In XP start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore, and similar for Vista and Windows 7, or for those systems type it into the search box above the start orb. See you at the next meeting
Below what should be a most interesting program
